ArchitectureLocated on the slopes of the Iztaccihuatl volcano, amidst a forest, the project maintains a constant interaction with the exterior. The house fosters a connection between its occupants, the natural surroundings and the volcano as a central feature. As a retreat, the furniture has been custom-built on-site, contributing to a rustic character that, combined with the materiality, simplicity and warm tones of the volumes, creates cohesive spaces, resulting in a balanced and uniquely distinctive project.
